Where we love to work

The atelier works out of a camera bag from May to October. These are the coasts, lakes and hills it is built for, though your story may take us somewhere entirely new.

Coasts, lakes and islandsTravel quoted in one number

The map so far

Seven places we keep returning to

ItalyThe home coast · four regions

One country that contains a lake, a vertical coastline, golden hills and a whitewashed south, each marrying in its own accent. This is the map we work from, region by region.

Field notes, No. 01

Lake ComoVilla terraces · evening water

Villa gardens stepping down to the water, boats instead of cars, mountains holding the evening light long after sunset. The lake photographs like a promise kept.

Field notes, No. 02

Amalfi CoastCliffside ceremonies · lemon groves

Ceremonies on terraces that hang over the sea, lemon groves for the portraits, and that late golden light the coast is famous for. We know the hours when the crowds thin and the cliffs glow.

Field notes, No. 03

TuscanyGolden hills · long tables

Stone farmhouses, cypress lanes, long tables set between the vines. Tuscany rewards slow weddings, the kind with an unhurried golden hour and dancing under bare bulbs.

Field notes, No. 04

PugliaMasserie · olive light · long nights

Whitewashed masserie in ancient olive groves, courtyards built for long tables, and a light that turns gold an hour before it does anywhere else. The heel of Italy marries slowly, and photographs like a warm dream.

Field notes, No. 05

VenicePalazzo mornings · quiet canals

Palazzo mornings, gondola crossings, confetti over a quiet canal. Venice is theatre already. We photograph it like the two of you are the only audience.

Field notes, No. 06

French RivieraRiviera light · white parties

White linen, sea light, parties that start at noon and refuse to end. From Menton to Cannes, the eastern Riviera asks for a camera that can keep up and a photographer who knows when not to.

Field notes, No. 07

Saint-TropezPeninsula light · long white nights

A fishing village that became a legend, a peninsula of vineyards and pine hills behind it, and the long sand of Pampelonne below. Saint-Tropez marries in linen and stays up late.

Field notes, No. 08

SantoriniCaldera vows · blue dusk

Vows over the caldera, white walls that hold the light, and the blue hour that gives the island its name. Small weddings shine brightest here.

Field notes, No. 09

MontenegroBoka Bay · island light

A bay that behaves like a fjord, a walled town at the end of it, and an islet hotel that reopened this summer after five years shut. Montenegro is the Adriatic at its most cinematic and its least photographed.

Field notes, No. 10

CroatiaWalled cities · Dalmatian stone

Limestone that goes gold at six, a walled city that empties when the ships leave, and a thousand islands behind it. Croatia is the most reachable coast on this list and the least understood.

Field notes, No. 11

GreeceAegean light · island logistics

Two countries in one: the islands, which are theatre, and the Peloponnese mainland, which is quiet, private and reachable by road. The light is the hardest and the most rewarding on this sea.

Field notes, No. 12

Saint Weddings is commissioned for luxury destination weddings across Italy, the French Riviera and the Mediterranean, and follows its couples anywhere in the world. Two weddings, one weekend, two countries? It has happened. Beautifully.

A bride and groom walk hand in hand through a yellow wildflower meadow with wooded hills rising behind them.

Travelling with us

How travel works

i.

One number, no surprises

Flights, stays and ground travel are arranged by the atelier and included in your quote before you sign. You will never receive a mileage invoice after the wedding.

ii.

We arrive early

The atelier lands the day before at the latest, walks the venue in wedding light and sleeps nearby. Delayed luggage stories are for other weddings.

iii.

Local knowledge, borrowed

Planners, chapels, harbourmasters, the man with the key to the tower. We coordinate the people and permissions a destination day needs, so the logistics never reach you.

Name the coast. We know the light there.
