The River at Dusk
Two people, one riverbank, and the last light of the day.
Two people, one riverbank, and the last light of the day. No guests, no schedule, no speeches. An elopement in the truest sense, a wedding the size of a promise.
We walked the embankment as the sun went down and the city lights came up, and the two of them slowly forgot we were there, which is exactly the point of us.
The whole story took an evening. It did not need more. Some archives are thick, this one is distilled, and it is one of the ones we reopen most often.
