Corone tenute sopra due teste, luce di candela su vecchie mura. L'ora dell'incoronazione è il momento più fotografato che conosciamo, eppure, ogni singola volta, trova il modo di essere nuovo.

La tradizione dà a un matrimonio la sua spina dorsale. Il giro rituale, le candele, le corone scambiate sopra le loro teste, ogni gesto più vecchio di secoli di chiunque nella stanza, eppure in qualche modo perfettamente loro.

Lavoriamo queste cerimonie in silenzio, dai margini, con lunghi teleobiettivi e respiri brevi. Ciò che portiamo a casa non è la cronaca di un rito. È il volto di una madre durante quel rito.
